Saône-et-Loire

Assembly: 538 - Microrip

Before releasing the tender, the fire brigade conducted a risk assessment. It highlighted several requirements: reducing heat stress, improving visibility according to the EN ISO 20471 standard and enhancing the ergonomics of the suit. The 538 Microrip assembly without a membrane was chosen for its breathability and comfort. The firemen in Saône-et-Loire (SDIS 71) were the first in France to wear a yellow suit, which was covered by several French media, such as Le Parisien and TF1.

Material assembly 538 - Microrip

We are aware of the problems that might occur before, during and after fire interventions. You might be too hot before the intervention to begin with and it could be harder to evacuate perspiration efficiently. To solve those problems, we have created a light, resistant and very breathable assembly. It has a level two thermal protection.

Our solution with a RET < 9 m².Pa/w is rare in the market. After all, the lower the RET, the more breathable the fabric.
