At SIOEN FIRE, each garment is built with a specific layering system (known as a “complexage”), carefully engineered to meet the real-life challenges faced by firefighters in the field.

What is an assembly ?

An assembly is a combination of multiple technical layers — outer shell, thermal barrier, moisture barrier, and inner lining — working together to provide optimal protection against radiant and convective heat, while ensuring mechanical strength, waterproofness, and breathability. We offer a wide variety of layering systems because firefighting conditions vary greatly: urban or wildland fire, mild or extreme climates, frequency of use, and specific expectations for comfort or weight. That’s why we develop tailor-made assemblies, designed to deliver the most suitable protection for every mission and every firefighter.
