Production facilities and certificates
Sioen fully owns all its worldwide production sites all over the world. For the full process of designing, manufacturing and testing the garments, production facilities in 7 countries are utilised. Find out more about our production facilities and the certificates.
Own production facilities
The Sioen headquarters are located in Ardooie, Belgium. That’s where the garments are developed and designed by our R&D department and dedicated designers. It is also where they are tested in our in-house laboratory. The quality control takes place in Mouscron at our logistics platform. There are also two distribution centres located in Belgium, one in Mouscron and the other in Ghent.
In France, more specifically in Graulhet, Sioen owns a production facility that incorporates a washing unit. The garments are not only washed and decontaminated, but also inspected and repaired if needed. An after-sales service is available. This facility employs around 20 people.
In Romania, Tunisia, Indonesia and Myanmar, we have production facilities, where the firefighter suits are sewed, the striping and seams are welded and the garments are packaged. We have approximately 350 employees in Romania, 750 in Tunisia, 1400 in Indonesia and 1050 in Myanmar.
The contact details of our production facilities can be found on our corporate website.
