The Omani firefighters of the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) face incredibly high summer temperatures. They require a fire suit that can protect them from heat stress while ensuring their freedom of movement. To achieve this balance between heat resistance and breathability, we advised our PU membrane. It is entirely developed and manufactured in Europe by Sioen. This membrane is close to the skin, allowing a greater evacuation of perspiration, and thus a higher breathability. In addition, its mechanical resistance is unmatched, with its 200% elasticity, allowing the Omani firemen the comfort they need during their heroic interventions.

The Omani jacket is a classical design long jacket. The sewing was reinforced for maximum durability with the special safety stitch. The reflective tape of the Omani firesuit is the same as the Paris Fire Brigade. As a matter of fact, the Sultanate of Oman is the first country in the middle east to acquire this advanced fluorescent retroreflective tape design. The pockets were adapted to the fire brigade's specific equipment and needs.
The assembly used for the trousers as well as for the jacket, is the 529 Microrip, one of Sioen's most battle tested solutions. The durable braces we designed for the Omani firefighters are fixed and thanks to the 2 patched thigh pockets, there is plenty of storage space for their tools and accessories.
