Originally developed with the firefighters of Charente-Maritime (France), the ASTIL rescue cover (dimensions: 2.30 m x 2 m) was specifically designed to enhance the protection of both victims and responders during road extrication operations.
Made from inherently flame-resistant aramid fabric, it includes a detachable M1-rated transparent window that allows continuous monitoring of the victim while maintaining visual and verbal contact — a key element in reducing stress in critical situations.
This cover acts as a true safety barrier, offering dual protection: shielding the victim and the firefighter from cutting debris, dust, and tool-generated projectiles.
