Trusted production, Verified protection

Production Facilities & Certifications

Sioen Apparel, the garment manufacturing division of Sioen Industries, fully owns and operates its global production facilities. Thanks to production plants located in 14 countries, Sioen Apparel controls the entire textile manufacturing value chain — from design to final production — ensuring the level of quality, traceability, and responsiveness required for high-performance protective equipment.
Quality at the heart of our expertise

At Sioen, quality starts with the careful selection of materials. Our objective is clear: to design high-performance, long-lasting protective equipment.

Every raw material is subjected to rigorous testing in our laboratories before entering production. Throughout the manufacturing process, each stage follows strict quality procedures, consistently applied across all Sioen Group facilities, ensuring that every item of PPE fully meets our customers’ requirements.

Before dispatch, each production batch undergoes a final inspection at our distribution centre in Mouscron, guaranteeing a product that is reliable, protective, and built to last.

Our Production Plants

The headquarters of Sioen is located in Ardooie, Belgium. This is where the clothing is developed and designed by our R&D department and specialised designers from the Business Development department (BD Team). It is also where they are tested in our internal laboratory. Quality control takes place in Mouscron at our logistics platform.

In France, specifically in Graulhet, Sioen has owned a production site since 2001, which also houses our washing unit. The garments are not only washed and decontaminated but also inspected and repaired if necessary. Indeed, the staff at the Graulhet factory are qualified and experienced in making and repairing intervention suits.

To ensure operational continuity, all our production sites are versatile and maintain the same level of quality. SIOEN is ISO 9001 certified. The sites in Romania (with 360 employees), Tunisia (438 employees), and Indonesia (1228 employees) are used for the manufacturing of firefighter clothing.
The contact details of our production sites can be found on the SIOEN group's website.
